SIYI HM30 HD Digital Video Transmission System delivers a 30‑KM, 150‑ms low‑delay 1080p full‑HD video and remote‑control link. SIYI Technology independently develops this latest digital‑transmission technology. It packs rich features and strong performance, so FPV aircraft, commercial UAVs, unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned boats and robotic platforms widely adopt it for reliable FPV viewing and rock‑solid control.
HM30 is a remote full HD FPV system with remote control, telemetry and built-in OSD capabilities.
HM30 uses the 5100 to 5825 MHz band, centered on the 5550 MHz band.
HM30 antenna is interchangeable. Both the ground unit and the air unit use SMA connectors to mount the antennas. Original antenna are: 4 × Omni Antennas (2 for ground, 2 for air), 2 × Directional Antennas (for ground) Sold-alone antenna choices are: 17dB high gain antenna / Lollipop antenna.
The transmitting power of HM30 is about 25dBm / 320mW.
Effective range: The latest record is 50km. The range limit is different at different antenna settings and different wireless modes.
HM30 supports all types of flight controllers such as Ardupilot, PX4, INAV, etc. To enable OSD overlay, your flight controller must provide Mavlink output. Any flight controller will work when you don’t require OSD overlay.
HM30 is compatible with any type of remote controller that supports S.Bus or PPM output.
30KM 1080P Full HD Image Transmission system
SIYI HM30 HD Digital Video Transmission System adopts SIYI’s brand-new, cutting-edge HD image transmission technology. It delivers a 1080p 60fps video stream with low latency of *150ms. The system includes smart frequency band adaptation. It automatically selects the band with minimal interference.
With standard omnidirectional antennas, the HM30 achieves an effective range up to 15 kilometers. If fitted with long-range antennas, the range extends to 30 kilometers. It supports full HD video transmission, real-time telemetry and reliable control at this maximum distance.
*The 150ms latency is an average result measured by using SIYI standard IP camera under the following conditions:
H.265 format, 720p @ 30 fps, displayed in QGC v4.1 (low-latency mode): end-to-end latency is between 130 and 180ms.
H.265 format, 1080p @ 30 fps, displayed in QGC v4.1 (low-latency mode): end-to-end latency is between 180 and 250ms.
OSD Telemetry Display
With the HM30 video link, the SIYI FPV App pulls Mavlink telemetry data and renders it as overlay OSD on your live video feed. You can fully customize which telemetry metrics appear on screen. Combined with crisp full‑HD video, this FPV OSD brings rich situational awareness for field operations.
OLED Touchscreen Display and Configuration
For outdoor convenience, the HM30 ground unit includes an OLED touchscreen. This screen shows real‑time operational status and lets operators adjust key parameters quickly in‑field.
Quick Release Battery, PD Fast Charging
In terms of power, the ground‑station unit uses a quick‑release battery bay compatible with popular NP‑F550 / NP‑F570 / NP‑F950 battery packs. It supports up to 30 W PD fast‑charging to top‑up your batteries directly through the transmitter. Alternatively, you can feed 7‑16.8 V external DC power into the ground unit via its XT30 port.
