Cubepilot Herelink HD Video Transmission System V1.1 is simple to set up. It lets you add HD video, data links and a ground station controller to your drone easily.
This product comes from CubePilot Hex Technology and ProfiCNC. These teams also developed Pixhawk and The Cube GPS system.

The ground unit is small and lightweight. Therefore, you can carry and operate it conveniently in field flights.
Besides, the air unit has a compact form. It fits nearly all common drone models.

The Air Unit 1.1

First, it combines data link, RC link and video encoder into one single module. This design miniaturizes the whole complex system. It uses a 2.4 GHz radio for control and data. Its maximum transmission range reaches 20 km. Moreover, it delivers a minimum latency of 110 ms. It also has two HDMI input ports. It supports 720p 30fps, 1080p 30fps and 1080p 60fps video formats. The air unit runs on 7–12 V input power. It includes one UART port for flight controllers or Mavlink devices.

The Herelink Controller 1.1

This is a 2.4 GHz radio controller with a built-in 5.5-inch screen. With it, you get long-range HD video, telemetry and control links up to 20 km. It uses the 2.4 GHz band over Wi-Fi. This choice helps maximize transmission distance. For regulation limits, it reaches 20 km under FCC rules and 12 km under CE rules.

The 5.5-inch screen shows many control options. For example, it displays live camera feed. It also supports native QGroundControl and other Mavlink-based ground station software. Both the air unit and controller use the Pinecone S1 processor. It has four 2.2 GHz cores plus four 1.4 GHz cores. This strong chip enables rich app functions and supports future feature development. Compared with the old version, V1.1 adds an SD card slot and an Ethernet port. Meanwhile, its screen is brighter, rated at 1000 nits.
