CUAV P8 Radio Drone Telemetry is an ultra-long data transmission module of UAV. It adopts the communication frequency band of 840MHz. It has a transmission distance of 60km and a transmission rate of 345Kbps. It supports point-to-multiple, and relay communication, meet communication requirements in multiple application scenarios.

840-845MHz Frequency Band

840-845MHz is adopted to avoid interference from other devices in 433MHz, 915MHz and 2.4g communication frequency bands.

345kbps Link Rate 60 km Range

Using Adaptive bandwidth, automatic interference-avoidance frequency hopping, bidirectional telemetry technologies, the transmission distance reaches 60km and the transmission rate reaches 345Kbps.

CUAV Drone Telemetry Supports Multiple Network Topology Communications

P8 Radio supports point-to-point, point-to-multiple, and relay communication modes to meet various application scenarios and ultra-long distance communication requirements.

3S-12S Battery Input

The wide voltage input of the 3S-12S battery supported by CUAV Telemetry P8 covers the working voltage of most of the current UAVs. No additional BEC is required for voltage conversion.

Dual-End Switchover

P8 has built-in TTL and USB ports, and the air terminal and ground terminal can be switched at will. If there is damage, it can be paired with other modules to reduce the use cost.

Aviation Aluminum Shell

The aviation aluminum alloy shell has good thermal conductivity, light weight, high strength and corrosion resistance, and has good electromagnetic shielding efficiency. The design of heat dissipation grooves on the shell surface increases the heat dissipation efficiency.

Button Definition

RESET Button Restart the P8 Radio module
CONFIG Button Pressing it alone is not defined. Press and hold the CONFIG and RESET Key at the same time. Release the RESET key first, and then release the CONFIG key to enter the configuration state.

Power Requirement

We recommend that you use a 3S-12S battery to power the CUAV Radio P8. Both the sky end and the ground end need independent power supply, please ensure that the maximum output current of the power supply is> 2.5A (battery is recommended).

P8 Radio 1 - CUAV P8 Radio Drone Telemetry

* Note: Do not use computers or power bank with output current lower than 2A to supply power to the equipment; Otherwise, it may lead to irreversible damage to the equipment.

Default Configuration

The default configuration of P8 is: airspeed 115K, interface speed 57600, broadcast mode. In general, you do not need to perform any configuration, plug and play.
