The ADP100 is a compact and portable power supply designed specifically for ToolkitRC M series DC chargers. It features a safe case design with no bare metal or wire terminals, and includes over current protection.
Setup
1. Connect Power Supply:
Connect the AC power cable to the ADP100 power supply unit, then plug the ADP100 into a standard AC outlet (100-240V, 50-60Hz). Connect the DC output cable of the ADP100 (XT60 connector) to the input port of the M6D charger.

2. Power On:
Once connected, the M6D charger display will power on, showing the main interface.
3. Connect Battery:
Connect your battery’s main discharge lead to either CH1 or CH2 Main Port (XT60). For balanced charging, also connect the battery’s balance lead to the corresponding CH1 or CH2 Balance Port.
Operating Modes
The M6D charger supports both asynchronous and synchronous charging modes.
Asynchronous Mode
In asynchronous mode, each channel (CH1 and CH2) operates independently, allowing you to charge or discharge two different batteries simultaneously with individual settings. The maximum charging power per channel is 250W (0.1-15A).
Synchronous Mode
In synchronous mode, both channels combine their power output to charge a single battery at a higher rate. This mode is ideal for large capacity batteries requiring faster charging. The maximum combined charging power is 500W (0.1-25A).
Image: A diagram illustrating the synchronous charging mode, where both channels of the M6D charger are connected to a single battery for combined power output.
To enable synchronous mode, navigate to “System Settings” on the charger’s display and select “Setting the Synchronous” to “ON”.
Basic Operation
- Select Channel: Use the CH.EXIT key to switch between Channel 1 and Channel 2, or to exit a menu.
- Navigate Menus: Use the Wheel Key to scroll through options and adjust values. Press the Wheel Key to confirm selections.
- Start Charging:
- Connect your battery to the appropriate main and balance ports.
- Select the desired battery type (LiPo, LiHV, LiFe, etc.).
- Set the charging current and cell count (for LiPo/LiFe/etc.).
- Confirm settings and start the charging process. The display will show real-time charging data.

4. Discharging:
The M6D supports two discharging modes: Recycle Mode (0.1-15A @ 250W*2) and Normal Mode (0.1-3A @ 12W*2). Select the appropriate mode and settings for discharging your battery.
Advanced Features
USB Interface
The integrated USB port on the M6D charger serves two primary functions:
- Mobile Phone Charging: Provides a 5V, 2.1A output for charging mobile devices.
- Firmware Upgrade: Allows for easy firmware upgrades via USB 3.0, ensuring your charger always has the latest features and improvements.
