The Cube Autopilot

CubePilot Main - The Cube Autopilot

The Cube Autopilot

The goal with The Cube Autopilot (formally Pixhawk2) was not just to update the original Pixhawk, but to fundamentally redesign the entire experience while maintaining the independent, open-hardware design. The Cube is the world’s most advanced open autopilot system designed to meet the needs of the academic, hobby and industrial drone markets. Utilizing the incredible ArduPilot firmware, The Cube turns any remote controlled plane, copter, rover, boat or submarine into a full-featured professional drone.

Cube

The Cube provides all the functionality needed for a modern autopilot system through a simple hardware interface; 80pin DF17 connector. The connector allows The Cube to be seamlessly connected to many available carrier boards, and the interface can then be separated into a standalone plug-and-play autopilot system or OEMs can use it to design their own carrier boards for tightly integrated custom Drone solutions.

There are numerous options, each designed for a different application. The cube lineup is second to none.

Triple redundant IMU system

Carrier boards

Designed for your application

Carrier Boards provide autopilot breakout form-factors for different applications. For example, the Standard Carrier Board is the original carrier board designed to meet the needs of any application by providing all possible breakouts. The Mini Carrier board is designed for space sensitive applications by being as small and compact as possible. The Kore Carrier Board is designed to make integration of The Cube into quadcopters as simple as possible by providing all breakouts and features required for quadcopter designs.

GPS

Here 3/3+ GPS is a Cost-efficient GNSS system that supports RTK mode. Positioning accuracy down to centimetre-level in an ideal environment. Improved dust and water resistance over the Here+ (Not guaranteed to be waterproof). High data rate, upgradeability, noise immunity, and real-time features from the DroneCAN protocol, with Here3+ now moving to DroneCAN 8Mbit bus speed. Here 3 is Equipped with the STM32F302 processor while the Here3+ jumps to the Dual core STM32H757 running at 400MHz with 2MByte Flash, and 1MByte RAM. Supports future firmware updates. Support from ground control software. Future updates will be available from Mission Planner. Built-in Inertial Measurement Unit (compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer), for advanced navigation needs.

Here Pro

HerePro is a professional High Precision Multi-band RTK Navigation module. It supports various GNSS options such as BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, QZSS. Connecting 2 HerePro modules, as base and rover respectively, can complete a precise Multi-band Multi-GNSS RTK system. The HerePro rover and base are identical in both software and hardware. Parameter setting is the only distinction.
HerePro uses multi-frequency DGNSS signals with advanced algorithms to converge on an RTK Fix in seconds, achieving more reliable centimeter level positioning.
