CUAV P9 Radio User Manual

CUAV P9 Radio is CUAV’s new long-range drone data link communication module. It has high power, high speed and high receiver sensitivity, which is very suitable for UAV communication system.

Connection with Flight Control

  • Pixhawk: plug into the flight controller’s telem1 or telem2 interface

It should automatically connect after being recognized by QGroundcontrol.

P900 Configuration

The P900 has already been configured at the factory. Generally, you do not need to configure this document. If you have requirements, you can configure it according to the instructions below.

Configuration Mode Enable

Use the USB cable to connect the P900 data transmission to the computer, open the serial assistant software, press and hold the CONFIG and RESET buttons, release the reset button, then release the CONFIG button. The serial assistant pops up the “NO CARRIER ok” prompt to enter the configuration mode.

Configuration mode interface baud rate is fixed 9600 If a late configuration error occurs, it can be reconfigured through the configuration mode.

  • ATS101:Type (0 – host; 1 – transit; 2 – slave)

Point-to-point communication configuration

Point-to-point mode Just copy the parameters below and paste them to the serial port assistant. Press the Enter key and then click Send. The configuration can be completed (the configuration succeeds with ok) Host settings

Point-to-multipoint communication configuration
