Flight Test of the UniRC7 Equipped with Dual Gimbal

Pre-Flight Preparation

Before the SIYI UniRC 7 flight test begins, the drone remote controller is powered on and connected to the dual gimbal camera system. The SIYI A8 Mini and A2 Mini gimbals are mounted securely on the drone, with their cables properly routed to ensure unrestricted rotation and movement. Both gimbals are powered up, and initial camera checks are performed to confirm that the video feeds are active and stable. Proper system setup guarantees that both gimbal feeds will operate reliably during the test, laying the groundwork for smooth transitions and accurate image capture.

Core Features of the SIYI UniRC 7 Remote Controller

Advanced Communication System

The UniRC 7 supports 2.4/5 GHz dual-band communication with a range of up to 40 kilometers. Equipped with a transmission bitrate of up to 65 Mbps and latency as low as 170 ms, it ensures stable, high-quality video for both single and dual-stream operations. AES encryption secures all data, making it suitable for critical missions.

7-Inch Ultra-Bright Display

Featuring a 1080p resolution and 1600-nit brightness, the screen of UniRC 7 drone remote controller remains clearly visible under direct sunlight. Adaptive brightness and anti-glare technology provide excellent readability in varying environments, ensuring consistent monitoring during daylight operations.

Ergonomic Design and Control Features

The remote controller’s auxiliary joystick offers customizable control for gimbals, cameras, and other onboard devices. The patented quick-release belly bracket enhances comfort during long missions, reducing operator fatigue and enabling precise control over extended flight durations.

Flight Performance of the UniRC7 Equipped with Dual Gimbal

Forward Flight and Turning Transitions

Once airborne, the drone undergoes multiple flight maneuvers including steady forward flight and controlled turns. During these maneuvers, the video feed is switched between the A8 Mini and A2 Mini gimbals. The transitions are tested for smoothness, stability, and image quality. Even during rapid directional changes, both video feeds on the screen of UniRC7 remote controller remain stable without distortion.

Zoom and Detail Clarity

The drone global cameras’ zoom capability is engaged mid-flight, magnifying ground details. The UniRC 7 maintains sharp and clear imagery without noticeable latency, demonstrating its capacity to handle high-bitrate transmission under zoom operations.
